Now that I have been allocated to group five in this session
we looked at what each other’s strengths were within the group. From what I
could see there was a mix of graphic designers and textile students. In order
to fulfil brief 5, we had to split ourselves up into separate sub groups. I was
allocated into team 4 with two other students, one being a graphic designer and
the other specialising in pattern cutting.
As the project leader was not here for this session we were
left to our own devices. To begin with we just wanted to get to know each
other. At this moment, not much reflection was given towards the brief as it
was still very fresh. We ended the session with the aim of going away and
reflecting on what is required of us from brief 5, this will ensure we come
with strong ideas for week 5 including possible start points for our research.
